Shards of the bluest blue are made by a process of cutting, splaying, bending, and drilling, following an informal set of making rules. Playful and unusual forms emerge from these standard rectangular profiles – a series of strange hunting trophies – a practice in finding functions, joints, and shapes with restrictive raw materials.

Carved Aluminium hooks

The Addicted retail space for Kiko Kostadinov continues the idea of a rotting, frozen house scatted across the world. An aluminium structure with greater depth suggests a doorway and two rooms with flooring. It feels like the most substantial fragment left of this fictitious structure. Elsewhere in the store, a duotone display shelf is accompanied by a cash desk featuring with walnut burl veneered panels and stainless steel tubes.

The gates and other elements were incorporated in the existing structure of the Danish pavilion at Giardini in Venice and formed the scenography of an installation by artist Uffe Isolotto, combining objects, sculptures and other artworks with a quality of an immersive video game.

Series of gates, sliding doors, hanging structures and objects, such as hooks, hinges and chains that are inspired by traditional European style farmhouse architecture, doors etc. All the structural elements are made by using standard aluminium box sections, reminiscent of timber, with sections cut away revealing the hollow structure. It is a technical replica of a rustic primitive construction.

Custom hinges and hooks were made from resin-bonded laminated fabric (Tufnol).
