Shards of the bluest blue are made by a process of cutting, splaying, bending, and drilling, following an informal set of making rules. Playful and unusual forms emerge from these standard rectangular profiles – a series of strange hunting trophies – a practice in finding functions, joints, and shapes with restrictive raw materials.

Carved Aluminium hooks

The Addicted retail space for Kiko Kostadinov continues the idea of a rotting, frozen house scatted across the world. An aluminium structure with greater depth suggests a doorway and two rooms with flooring. It feels like the most substantial fragment left of this fictitious structure. Elsewhere in the store, a duotone display shelf is accompanied by a cash desk featuring with walnut burl veneered panels and stainless steel tubes.

What is a super bench? Does it suit modern functions (USB charging stations and WiFi clouds), contemporary aesthetics, or foster conceptual dialog? No. Being super is being ideological pure, but somewhat irrational with an element of fantasy. This project allowed us to experiment with the “what could be super” within a everyday typo-logical object.

This bench was originally inspired by a YouTube video of an man in a tie dyed t-shirt on a kids’ playground toy. Bobbing back and forth dragging his body on the ground clinging desperately to the handles before finally giving way, meanwhile his kid is hysterically laughing along with the wife who is behind the camera. We hope that this bench can bring such enjoyment to its users. 

 is a slick grown-up version of ride-on playground toys, made from polished stainless steel bench mounted on spring feet.
