Surface Service is the sensory manipulation of subastances’ value embedded in everyday objects. Materials, like exotic wood and granite, are scanned 1:1 and digitally printed onto silk textiles, retaining its symbolic value but changing its material properties, mixing both the original and the copy into a new object.
